The National Rainbow Gathering is a counter-culture event that occurs every year
around the fourth of July.
Around 20,000 transient hippies congregate in national forests to pray for peace and unity. This is
not a "Christian" event.
Many people from all walks of life, and every religion you can think of,
are drawn to these events. When we go, we want to
represent Jesus,
the prince of peace, to these people. Regional gatherings also take place monthly. These are smaller
in number and typically range between 200-2,000 people.
