Ryan's Hebrew Page

There are four hebrew manuscripts offered at biola.

  1. Hebrew OT HTML Format UTF8
  2. Hebrew OT HTML Format
  3. Hebrew OT Text Format
  4. Hebrew OT Transliterated Format
The first of these is puzzling to work with in windows. This file is formatted to be loaded into a database.

The second seems very logical and is even correct when viewed under internet explorer with Encoding set to "Hebrew (Windows)" This file is formatted to be loaded into a database.

The third is correct when viewed under internet explorer with encoding set to "Hebrew (Windows)" This file is formatted to be printed or viewed, but could still be parsed with a good perl script.

The fourth may ultimately be the most useful. Each hebrew consonant has been mapped to an ascii character. It is correct when viewed under normal fonts. This file is formatted to be loaded into a database.
